Objectives:

  • Promote peace and tolerance amongst general public
  • Win the support of policy makers for peace and tolerance
  • Utilize the services of clerics in arresting the growing spread of extremism, violence, gender discrimination

  • Aimmah Trainings
  • Training of Madaris Teachers
  • Sermons by Ulama for Peace and Tolerance
  • Development of Booklets on Peace and Tolerance related Issues
  • Awareness Campaigns for Peace and Tolerance related Issues
  • Participation in Talk Shows on TV and Radio on Peace, Tolerance, Gender Equity and human Rights
  • Networking with Stakeholder

Outputs:

  • Hold 20 Workshops for 600 Ulama and members of Civil Society
  • Organized 120 Seminars on Peace related issues in Madaris. Over 12000 Students and Teachers of Madaris attended the Events
  • Over 1100 Orientation Sessions for Ulama, Students of Madaris and Community Activists Organized. Over 15,000 Attended.
  • Organized 25 Aimmah training Courses for 500 Prayer Leaders
  • Organized four Training Courses for 100 Teachers of Madaris.
  • The Mapped Ulama of NRDF included Peace and Tolerance related Messages in Over 20,000 sermons. The Direct Estimated Audience of these Sermons is Over 2 Million Individuals.
  • Over 5000 Copies of Booklets on Peace, Religious Harmony, Women Rights, Human Rights and other Social Issues were Published and Disseminated amongst Ulama and Members of Local Communities
  • Participation in Talk Shows on TV and Radio on Peace, Tolerance, Gender Equity and human Rights
