Objectives:
- To find out the specific references from Qur’an and Sunnah which are made basis of human rights.
- To get authentic interpretation of the references from Qur’an and Sunnah from scholars of repute and acceptance.
- To compare the theoretical and practical aspects of human rights in Islam.
- To list the statutory provisions being executed by the State regarding human rights.
- To compile the results of the assignment in such a form of a document that could be widely disseminated amongst various players of civil society.
Outputs:
- The two Booklets on Women Rights in Islam Human Rights in Islam developed and published. The books are distributed among the development workers and members of civil society organization.
